Our new tour tracking dashboard is live for TdFF - we had a couple requests for this to follow the TdF dashboard, and we’ll be doing the Vuelta in a few weeks time.
All stages are available to add to your Intervals calendar as usual (the ‘ride this stage’ buttons), and the gpx file is in that event, which of course you can move around and ride whenever you like (ideally not on the same day the ladies are racing).
Post-stage highlights & analysis videos will start to appear and standings will update like they did for TdF.
As always let us know if you have any feature requests or find a bug. Thanks everyone.
Below the elevation profile, it’s written “Hover or drag across the profile to read distance, altitude & gradient — the dot tracks the route on the map above.”. However, dragging does not seem to work (I expected I could select a part of the route to get the numbers for it, for example to get the distance between the bottom and the top of hill or the distance between two hills).
Looks like the TDF-hommes startlist is still being used for the tracker of this race. It showed me the matching bib numbers from that race instead of the women in the break
Hi Yann, I plan to build a zoomable profile - that is on my list - thanks for confirming it’s a feature people are looking for I saw it implemented quite nicely here:
Yes, we had some livetracking issues yesterday - I was on a plane that took off more or less when the stage started so was unable to monitor and fix. However, we are in good shape today I believe.
Just noticed your page doesn’t like the repeated uses of the same climb on the final day. All 4 get the same stats (distance to go / length etc). It’s such a good website
It would also be cool if I could click/hover an athlete and see their GC Spilt and Position, Mountain, Sprint Points, etc. GC could be from start of the stage, or in a wonderful world live from the last split. Ideally, if a rider started the stage in second a minute down from Yellow, and they are currently 2 minutes ahead of yellow leading the stage it would show them as the new virtual yellow with a minute of gap to the next closest rider.
That would be cool, I am looking at improving this stuff and also considering adding the teams with riders to the dashboard on a dedicated page. Then we can also show who has abandoned or withdrawn from the race and maybe state when and why.
It’s the bottom row in the pop up for the climb. I think it’s because it’s referring to the same climb multiple times. The last one is probably shorter also looking at the map. It’s a very minor bug, but I feel like it might be an interesting one to fix as a programmer
