Total vs gear numbers

Hi,

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong with some configuration but numbers on Total and the equivalent gear don’t match.

Some things to check:

  • Do you have Indoor Run anywhere in your activity types?
  • Have you allocated gear to every workout?
  • Do you have more than one type of shoe listed?

Totals shows 78 activities, and your gear 50, so the difference would come from one of the scenarios.

Pls: picture on the first post shows most of my config but shows. Only one.

Hi @david, pls, any word on that?

I did a double check and it appears configs are ok.
There are only Run, Trail Run and Virtual Run ( Treadmill on Garmin) as “RUN” and “RUN” has only one shoe as default.
So no idea why numbers don’t match.

It sounds like you maybe misinterpreted a question. Do all 78 activities have the gear assigned? You can check them all quickly with the list view.

Thanks for clarifying.
Indeed it shows several activities with no gear at all and 3 with one of bikes …
I have no idea where that came from only I once use “default gear”.
Funny that happens in a window.
Question remains : how that happen

Hi @david

For some reason I can not fix gear for the 4 activities bellow either on Intervals nor Strava.
Could you please take a look ?

For some reason Strava won’t accept gear updates for those activities. They have the “Trainer” flag set and most (but not all) of the others do not. I think you should log a ticket with Strava since you can’t change the gear in the Strava UI either.
