Time in the zones

Hi,

Over the past week, why do the totals differ ?

For running, my time settings in the zones are as follows: HR, power, and pace.

Best,

The S1, S2, S3 are Seiler HR zones based on the three zone model.
In Intervals they are the result of adding up the Z1 and Z2, Z3 and Z4 and the zones 5 and above.
You already have your HR zones based on the three zone model, thus the S zones don’t make sense for you. S1 in your case is the result of Z1 + Z2.
Uncheck ‘3 Zone’ in the options to hide them.

Certainly, but the totaled values for Z1, Z2, and Z3 still do not match.

Furthermore, I prioritize heart rate calculations for determining time spent in zones. My breakdown key consists of 3 zones (Z1, Z2, and Z3). However, for the current week, I have percentages in Z5 and Z6.

The zone breakdown for the week includes planned workouts. Probably some of your planned workouts have Power or Pace targets and that’s what you see in the week overview.
If those workouts have both HR and Power/Pace targets, you could check the settings for Workout priorities.

You might want to set all those options to HR priority.

I’ve aligned ‘Workouts’ and ‘Time in Zones’ on HR, Pace, Power. But I still don’t understand how the calculations are done.

Here’s my schedule from Monday, March 4th, to Sunday, March 10th:

Hih-quality workouts (Tuesday and Friday) were built based on pace. Easy jogs (Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) were built based on HR.

At the beginning of the week, the planned durations in different zones (refer to the above table for details) matched the totals displayed on the left for the current week.

Yesterday, on Tuesday, March 5th, I did a quality session at a 10K pace.

I really don’t understand the new calculation (Z1 = 72.2, Z2 = 12.2, Z3 = 7.9, Z5 = 7.7).

If I review the data from my session yesterday, on March 5th:

Without any completed running sessions, it’s all planned. What percentage should be assigned next ?

There’s really something I don’t get, or I’m missing something.
