The wrong timeline In"comparison activity"


When testing the accuracy of two power meters, I found a bug in the “comparison activity” feature. When one device uses a cycling computer to directly control a smart trainer and follows a workout from the cycling computer, the smart trainer’s data shows a strange timeline mismatch during the comparison activity.

As shown in the attachment, even though both datasets are from the smart trainer recording power, the red line represents data from the controlling cycling computer, while the blue line is from another cycling computer only recording data. You can see that the red timeline lags behind at the beginning, then becomes ahead later on.

The data itself is accurate – it displays correctly when compared on the activity page.

You can adjust the timeline by clicking on one of the top label

Additionally you should change to time on the x axis, because on your screenshot it’s not a timeline, it’s distance.
