I would love to have a library of 30-40 of the most common workouts organized by TSS, time in zone and adaptation target.
Also, a few typical Base, Build, and Target plans polarized, pyramidal, SS and in Low, Mid, High Vol.
Switching away from TR and looking for another planning platform. I liked them and learned a lot, but, I was annoyed that all their plans were SS focused and found the whole experience a little clunky. I love Intervals.icu!!! It is so cool to be able to see the fitness fatigue graphs adapt as I plot out a training plan. Gonna muck around with it for a month, make sure I can get my workouts pushed to the trainer and headunits effectively, then sign me up for monthly Patreon. @david , you’re the best man.
You already know www.Trainerday.com I think it is an excellent solution, and if you are interested in the premium version, as I am a friend of the owner, maybe I can get a discount
Sure, easy enough. TrainerDay is nice. But, honestly, there’s like 30 workouts that cover 95% of what people need to do. Just build a small library and share it across users?
Tx. I am planning to add pages for organisations (teams / clubs / coaching businesses) at some point (soon I hope) which would be where such training plans could go. These will be searchable. Eventually coaches will be able to sell plans etc.
@david I built a folder of workouts from that VeloNews article and just realized there is no way to actually share the folder except with individuals. Is there a work around in the P2P? Can I share my library without sharing all of my training data? Or, do I need to export all to .zwo’s and share the folder to a cloud drive?
Would be good to be able to share a workout folder with the entire community (right now I can only share with followers or coached athletes). If we could post workouts in a shared/searchable space everybody could benefit from it.
Ideally, long term, same thing would be for training plans.
I don´t know the possibility, but in trainerday.com we can make and share workouts/plan, if we have in this forum a thread with names and direct link to trainerday.com maybe work
Making it possible to share workout folders, training plans and so on with everyone is on the todo list. I plan to add pages for clubs/teams/coaches etc where people can publish folders, plans, workouts etc and make that searchable.
I do need to be a bit careful what ends up on the pages because that starts to become “social” and thats Strava turf.
Would love to see how other people use/modify/improve these!!! If you take them, do leave a comment and suggestions once you’ve tried them. Thanks!!!
@Max_Nelson It doesn’t seem to as I can see the folder you shared but can’t see you’re data. That’s great!!! Thanks again, @David.
One thing that would be great in that workout library is something to indicate what the workout looks like, a mini-graph with zones, or time in zone, or something else. It would make it a lot easier to select and place workouts.
Thanks and same to you! It “fun” making these workouts and or changing ones from other sources. One thing I always have to do is get rid of ramps and change them to steps since Garmin head units don’t support ramps.
Ah shoot, I haven’t sorted out the exports to the Garmin head unit or tested out all the ZWO exports yet. Does Garmin have an issue with power ranges as well?
@david Has anyone produced a list of what workout annotations/structures work and don’t work when exporting between formats/headunits/softwares?
