It seems to me that splitting an interval by distance (i.e.: 1 Km) stopped working.
@david FYI ![]()
It works for me. Is there any special with your workouts? No speed chart or anything else? Does it still work with old activities, where it worked before?
It doesnât seem special to me: itâs an outdoor ride workout with speed chart, distance and everything in place. I never used this feature before because I discovered it only recently but it doesnât work with older activities either.
However, I just noticed that with a running workout works properly.
You have to delete all intervals before. Then create a new interval and span it over the whole timeline by clicking this arrow icon (1). After that you can split the whole activity in 1km splits.
Does it work different for ride? In running, where it works correctly, Iâm able to split an existing interval, and itâs neither the first nor the only one.
No. It only splits the selected interval. If you want 1km splits for the whole activity, you have the span it over the whole activity.
Just tried it with a run, too.
Anyway, I just tried to split an interval that spans the whole activity but the split by distance doesnât work.
Here you can find a recording of my tentative.
Ok. Looks like youâre doing all right. Could be because of a manual upload of the activity, and some missing information. But donât know. You could post an activity id for @david to help investigate.
This is a manual upload, but it behaves the same even where source is i.e. Wahoo.
Activity id is i76623042, and thanks for your time.
I didnât have any problems splitting that one. We have fixed several bugs related to interval editing recently so maybe it was one of those? Anyway please reload the app and give it another try.
Tx for all the help R2Tom.
I deleted all cookies, than I did an âempty cache and hard reloadâ to no avail.
Anyway, while in developer mode I noticed this error:
Could it be relevant?
BTW, it works on Brave browser on mobile (Android system).
That shouldnât make any difference.
I havenât been able to reproduce this issue using Chrome and Safari on a Mac. What browser are you using when it doesnât work?
I tried Safari, Firefox, Brave and Chrome on macOS Sequoia 15.15.
Please message me a link to an activity that it doesnât work on. Tx.
This one for instance: Intervals.icu.
I just âlogged in as youâ and split that activity into 1km intervals with no issues. I really canât figure this out. Are there any errors on the Javascript console when it fails? Right click on the page, choose inspect element and go to the console tab.
Also please check what version you have at the bottom of the /settings page. It should be â2025-06-21 15:47:32â or newer.
Nevermind! I managed to reproduce it and will fix. If you do not have the distance trace visible on the charts then it doesnât work.
