Earlier on i added the source field to the activity list, and noticed that everything is showing as sourced from Garmin Connect, however this clearly isn’t correct, as if you look at the following screenshots its obvious from the activity name that its coming from Strava.
The place that this is really obvious is with rides done in MyWhoosh as MyWhoosh only talks to Strava so the rides from there are manually uploaded to Garmin Connect
If you have Strava connected and also get the same activities through Garmin Connect, manual upload or another source then Intervals.icu deletes the Strava activity (to avoid dups) but keeps the name (most people name things nicely on Strava) and the segments.
This behaviour can be controlled using the Strava box in /settings:
Thanks for explaining that David, so if i were to cancel the link to Garmin, my activities would upload from strava{my garmin account is linked to strava)
Yes but you are better off keeping both connected. You get access to the original files and hence everything recording by your device and segments etc. from Strava. Strava doesn’t pass on things like left/right balance etc. which might be in your files.
