[SOLVED] Runs stopped showing in the calendar (Ans: Strava Dormant.)

As per the title, I see all of my Strava cycling activities but runs stopped showing about 1-2 months ago for some reason. How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Max

Check your filters?
Sounds like a filter to me.

What about say 5nths ago when runs were there. Are they still there? If no. Filters. If yes, maybe the runs are somehow not getting imported?

Last run that I see is from Sept 5 - after that only cycling activities and no runs.

Do describe in more details of what you’ve done or doing. Where the runs are from. Are you only filtering rides (import settings have a filter). You’ve tried uploading a run manually and sees that the run is actually there / not there?

Where you data is from? Cycling and running form same source. Etc etc.

I synced with Strava at the very start when I first signed up for Intervals.icu and everything was syncing and showing fine from Strava. I did nothing and now I see that my runs stopped syncing with Strava; my cycling activities are syncing just fine. What other information do you need?

Intervals have a 30day dormant account activation for non supporters. AFAIK, this only affects Strava.

But you said cycling has been pulled. Just not runs. Are the cycling and run on the same week?

This somehow still reeks of filters. Pls check and what about manual uploads of runs?

Note: not trying to be a pain. But the more info you provide (even those not listed / asked) the more ppl can try to help. Because this seems like a very easy solve. SEEMS…

I signed out of Strava, signed in again and see all my activities including my runs again. I didn’t use Intervals for 30 days leading up to the incident, so that must have been it. I’m still not sure how my rides got pulled from Strava.

So the workaround is 1) don’t stop using Intervals for more than 30 days 2) if you did, re-authorize Strava in Settings (de-authorize and then login again to authorize)

Check the summary on one of those rides. Are they really from Strava?

The link shows where they originate from.

For Strava, iso of signing out/in, first try the Download old data button on your connection settings.

It actually says both Wahoo and Strava on my rides (Intervals must be figuring out that it’s the same activity) - so later rides were probably coming from Wahoo Cloud and this explains the runs not showing up as I record runs only on Strava. Re-authenticating with Strava fixed this and I now have everything showing up properly. So yes, it’s the same bug mentioned above

You’ve got it.
This is the reason.. (and this is not a bug)

PS: What watch / app or device you’re using for your runs? if at all possible, try to stay away from using Strava (it poses some limitations as you’ve seen) and they’re not being nice to boot.
