[SOLVED] Missing data weeks 47 - week 10

Hi, excellent product, congratulations. It looks great, except I have a bunch of missing data which is on strava but not uploaded, from weeks 47 to week 10. The rest is fine.

How can I sort this please?

Maybe go to Activities, click and select 2019 from the top left data and then resync, which is the button ‘Look for new activities’ top right, next to ‘View on Strava’? Then do the same for 2020.

Tried that, thanks. No luck

Okay… Did you create season on the power page?

If you go to the /fitness page and click the “Refresh” icon it will search for missing activities across the whole date range. I can’t do this for the “normal” refresh that happens when you go to the Intervals.icu home page as it uses up a bit of Strava rate limit.

Let me know if that doesn’t help and I will investigate.

The way Intervals.icu fetches activities it is possible to get gaps.

Hi, thank you for this, it did the trick.

Just curious: why does this not work on the Activities page? Or is that the ‘home page’?

As you land there, I guess it is, duh… Why does that use up more of Strava’s rate limit, or is that too technical? In which case, save your breath, because I won’t understand it anyway :joy:

You can only get 100 activities at a time from the Strava API starting from a specific time backwards. So a search over a whole year for missing activities might require quite a few calls to the API. The activities / home page just makes one call to look for new activities that might have been missed. If you scroll back further in history it will look for more but it won’t try to find and fill gaps.

I had the same problem. Tried everything and the weeks missing is not loading. So I disconnect from Strava and reconnected back and I lost 4 years of data. :((((( I couldn’t get any of it back!

If you are missing Strava data use the “Download old data” button in the Strava box in /settings. DO NOT DISCONNECT STRAVA! The Strava API terms of service require that Intervals.icu delete all of your Strava data if you do that.

This tip worked for me!! Glad I kept scrolling…Thanks.
Possibly place (apologies if it’s already there…)this recommendation up top of FAQs?

It’s not pinned or in the FAQ but there are many topics/posts/bug reports/questions around the forum, for this. A search will immediately reveal the solution. But I agree that it would be better to have some sort of FAQ with these kind of things.
