[SOLVED] Eli5 - how to add an activity like 3hrs of rollerskating, or losing my sh*t on a dancefloor? (Ans: Manual Activity)

I’m fairly new to measuring heartrate and power, but not new to cycling, or losing my bits in a nightclub, and as part of rehab from a hip replacement 7 months ago I’m including a visit to a roller-rink every now and then. This is 3 to 4 hours of strenuous exercise, where I’m sweating hard so its a significant training load both as a leg workout and CV.

Ideally I’d input a very generalised training effort to Intervals so it gets included in the tracked fitness/fatigue graph but I’m not sure how best to quantify it or more importantly input it.

Actually, i should wear a hr monitor one night with a Wahoo roam in my pocket. That would at least collect some data to work with.

But how to input that in intervals?
Thanks for any advice.

You can add a ‘Manual Activity’, by clicking on a date and choosing Other Workout.

But if you have a HR stream, it’s better to use that. Intervals will calculate a load based on the HR stream.

Doh - so it will. A few sample evenings will give me an idea of how variable it is then I can input without measuring.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting this - I was struggling to find where I would add a manual activity.
