Running pace x power percentages

was reviewing my last weeks, where i did 2 ftp tests and was comparing the relations with the new pace/power/hr.

the default pace percentages feels right on spot with rpe and hr zones (here the default didn’t worked well for the aerobic threshold. changed to the cycling ones that feel right on), but the default power feels very off. the percentages are too low… making the time spread across the higher zones.

so i mirrored the percentages from the pace zones and felt a little more right. i know they are measured very distinctively, but maybe if they are even in percentages by default, it’ll be easier to relate them when analyzing the training.

i must say that even this way (equal percentages for power and pace), despite both thresholds relate well, the lower zones doesn’t match. i say this because the lower pace zones relate very well to rpe and hr… but they are closer.
