Rouvy Indoor training

Hi @david, I have used Rouvy for some of my indoor workouts. The workout is synced to garmin connect but is not transferred at intervals. Is it possible to synchronize Rouvy workouts via garmin connect?

Probably not. In April 2021 Garmin Connect stopping supplying activities from non-Garmin sources to apps like Intervals.icu. You probably have to go via Strava.

what about directly from Rouvy?

it would be a great solution … @david

I just want to back this up by saying a Rouvy direct integration is my most desired feature. If it was implemented I would become a paid supporter without a doubt. I have also reached out to Rouvy to suggest intervals.icu integration on their end.

Rouvy integration / zwift integration / Garmin / TP all of those are not within intervals control anyhow you guys know that right? I also tried to get sync to TP but was denied.

Your current best bet, since Rouvy syncs to Garmin (but garmin won’t transfer non-garmin activities out via their API) is to use a 3rd party app like tapiriik.com. (I used to do this)

rouvy → garmin → tapiriik.com → dropbox → intervals

Not sure if Tapiriik does FIT or only TCX, if TCX only then you will lose out on L/R pedal balance

Or… what about just using Strava?
eg: Rouvy → Strava → Intervals

Rouvy - Strava - Interval work great it’s automatic à is done within a second

I try, I had never associated strava because until a few times ago it did not record the watt data of the run. Now I know vhe does it, I’ll try it like this

The correct way to do this would be intervals pushing workouts to Rouvy, with the workout results going from Rouvy either directly to intervals, or via strava/garmin etc.
While Rouvy supports individual workouts, it doesn’t have any training planning & this would close the gap.
So the work here would be minimal (push workout to Rouvy, assuming it has an API to do this), as the import results from strava/garmin already exists.

Any Rouvy user? I used it throughout the winter, until May. How do you guys use it - do you have a yearly/monthly subscription?

To whom it may concern: there is a limited promo code (for 6-month plan) RIDEROUVY50 with 50 % off. I’ve rejoined today to apply the code and I also emailed the support team regarding the integration with Intervals. Fingers crossed. cc @david

I think the code will no longer be active

Are there any workarounds for importing the Interval workouts to Rouvy? :eyes:

Download the ERG or MRC format from Intervals.
Import the workout at Workouts
Edit (if required)
Save

I’m doing it currently for 3 athletes that complete their workouts there.

Probably not as they actually canceled 6-months plan and introduced the duo and group subscription plans. The 5-member account is actually quite a good deal - 33 EUR/month/5 people. Similar to 50percent off from previous 6months plan price.

Yes, and also Black Friday is coming so there will definitely be some deal of the year from Rouvy.

Here it is:

Check rungap on ios. It could synchronize across many platforms and set intervals.icu as a destination. So everything from garmin will be transfered to interval

You can load mrc and erg files dierectly to Rouvy app. But you always have to know that Rouvy has no Ramps. If you want ramps (as steps) eswell it gets more complicatetd and you have to go over Trainerday Pro and TP.
