Revoke Strava access

If I do revoke Strava access, will previous activities that are already stored at intervals removed if they came from Strava? I now mostly import activities from Garmin Connect and I don’t really want to keep feeding strava with my data if they think it belongs to them…

Yes Intervals.icu is required to delete all the Strava stuff if you disconnect.

So which is the best way to proceed if I don’t want to be involved with strava anymore?

Dowload all your Strava activities in bulk (there’s such feature on Strava) and then upload it to Intervals. And then revoke

Try This method.

After that,
But do not revoke/disconnect just yet. Just un-tick the “Download from Strava” option so new activites are not obtained via Strava

Many thanks for linking to that method!

I’ve tried doing that, but a cohort of my Strava activities within Intervals that are downloaded don’t then get re-imported, meaning the source of those activities within Intervals remains as “Strava”…

Of my 2422 Strava-sourced activities since 2018, 56 of them (spread over 2018-2023) are affected, and therefore remain within Intervals with a Source of Strava.

I’ve tried downloading just these 56 activities and re-importing, but no dice. There’s nothing obvious about them to me that would mark them out as different from the very many other activities which imported correctly. :person_shrugging:

Anyone any ideas? @david
Thanks.

I am busy with an importer for that file which will preserve as much info from the Strava activities already on Interval.icu as possible (e.g. the intervals). Comments are already kept if you upload a file.
