Returning to Intervals.icu, Fitness graph not working?

Hi everyone,

I was using Intervals.icu a few years ago, stopped using it because I lost my HR belt.
A few weeks ago I thought about using Intervals.icu for my training again, but I have noticed that my Fitness graph does not show any line, and that on my Activities page the Load/Fitness/Form are all at 0 even though I do have activities imported from Strava.
Could anyone help me troubleshoot this issue? I do not know if my account parameters are wrongly done, or if I need to update something?

Categorized the question in Bug Reports, but I am pretty sure this is not a bug, just me doing something wrong…

Many thanks in advance.
Alex

For Fitness, Fatigue, Form numbers to appear, you need activities with some sort of intensity indication. Power, HR or Pace can be used to calculate Load. If you have none of those in your activities, it is impossible to calculate a Load.
And, your zones and threshold must be set for the metric used.

Hmm ok, I have defined a “Pace Threshold” for the Run type of activities and it is now ok. Now, I cycle to and back from work. However, I do not wear the HR belt. Would you recommend using the HR belt for every activity in order to have an accurate load estimation of the activities or it is an overkill?

If you don’t have Power or HR for cycling, you don’t have any idea what the load is.
You could use the HR belt a couple of times to have an idea what the load is. Then, if the route/duration/circumstances are mostly similar, use that load and enter it as a manual activity.
The best solution, off course, is to get consistent data in. The mathematical model can’t guess what you’re doing. If you want some useful charts/metrics, you need to feed the model.
I monitor each and every activity, casual walk to intense ride and strength training. Within a couple of weeks/months, you will not remember what exactly was done. And if your charts show something interesting, you will not be able to identify if it had something to do with any of your activity…

It makes sense indeed. Running is my main sport, I “only” cycle to work every day so I may wear the HR belt a few times and use it as my baseline for load, thanks for the idea!

Thank you for your recommendations
