Hi all,
Again. Not sure if this is a bug or intended behaviour. So I’m asking!
This is the same workout I’m asking about in that thread:
- Indoor rowing
- 6 fit-file splits
- each include 2 fit-file laps
- so rouchly it’d look like 6 * ([
workInterval,restInterval])
But I’m noticing discrepencies in how charts are displayed in Strava vs ICU:
Both seem to more-or-less understand the difference between “work” and “rest” when using the “create from laps” feature (see other thread). But Intervals’ “rest” periods are really small. Makes adjustments difficult, having to use the “step” arrows exclusively.
It think it doesn’t help that the files record per-stroke rather than per-second; I think doing so makes sense on the recording side! But the interface isn’t well equipped for it.
But my guess for this is that Strava is using time for their x axis, while Intervals is using data points? Or something? ![]()
All good if initentional. Mostly just curious as it was an unexpected discrepency.
Thanks!
David
