Yes they are busy with maintenance. Could be 35 hours long.

We would like to inform you that on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 04:00 UTC, there will be a scheduled maintenance break in the Polar AccessLink API. We expect a downtime of up to 35 hours, and we will do our best to complete the required database update as quickly as possible.

All queued data will be transferred automatically once the maintenance is finished.

Thank you.

Today I could not download data from my Polar watch and received the message “Error fetching activities from POLAR”. Please let me know if there is a way to correct this.

I’m getting this error as well.

As written above, it’s a scheduled maintenance.

Great to know. Thought I’d done something wrong!

As of 07/04/2026 I’m unable to sync my workouts from polar flow to Intervals.icu.
I’m getting error telling fetching data did not work

I tried removing the connection and reestablishing the connection
However reestablishing the connection does not work and throws an error “{“status”:503,“error”:“Athlete i512759 POST https://www.polaraccesslink.com/v3/users failed: 503 : \r\n503 Service Temporarily Unavailable\r\n\r\n

503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

\r\n\r\n\r\n”}”

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

On Polar Status site (https://status.polar.com/) it shows "Polar API/3rd party sync " is “Under Maintenance”, so it’s probably their fault. Strava sync seems to be working just fine, but I also see problems with uploading to Adidas Running. So it seems we have to wait.

thanks for the fast reply and sharing the link to the polar status page.
I did not know this and will keep it bookmarked as this will help in troubleshooting future problems as well

Training Peaks sync working well. I just downloaded mine workouts results from TP and uploaded to Intervals. I also need solid statistic now not later.

Thanks for the information.

According to their status page, work is still ongoing:

They have a separate integration with TP, which is why that is working. Intervals.icu uses the Polar API/3rd party sync.

Looks like Polar is up again. Intervals.icu received a bunch of webhooks and created a lot of activities. The status page says all good.
