Remove power from an activity

How can I remove the power data from an activity?

Easiest way is fitfetools.com.
Might now be possible in Intervals with a fake Custom field running a script??

Depending why you want to remove it, you could just set it to ignored. From the activity, select actions - settings, and check the box.

Nope that won’t work  Easiest is just to set it to be ignored as David_R said. Otherwise you could also try fix it.

In case anyone ever wants to do this, it can easily be done in Golden Cheetah. There is a file editor within GC that allows you edit any data or even remove whole columns of data from a file.

You will loose dev fields if you do it in Golden Cheetah!

What are dev fields?

I did them on GC leaste night. Needed to remove power from about 65 files. Did it no problem so just left me with HR and cadence which is what I wanted. Uploaded them to intervals and they look fine.

HRV RR data, resp rate,… and anything written by a Gamin IQ field.
Golden Cheetah does not support those when exporting to FIT.

Ah. I had none of that data. Just power, hr, cadence.
I exported as TCX and uploaded here (which incidentally solved the PWX conversion problem also. I never realised until last night I could export from GC in a format other than PWX

TCX format doesn’t support those fields anyway. It also has no L/R balance support.

Hmmmm. Interesting. Good to know for the future.

Again though that wasn’t an issue. The power was from a Smart Trainer and wasn’t accurate. It had no LR Balance in any case.
