Planned races in intervals (A, B and C) always match up nicely with the actual activity once done. I also see you can tag an activity as Race. Is it possible to automatically do this given the matching to the planned race?
Cheers

If I am understanding the question correctly then yes…
Tag the planned race as a #race and then when the activity matches it will also be tagged as #race
I do this for a selection of my workouts and races for easy filtering etc
Hopefully understood correctly!
Almost. There is a race toggle for activities. But from what I understand that’s only set on the race „event“ and not on the workout. I did a 6-stage race recently and I had race events with the title of the stage so that they show up on the fitness chart (haven’t found the race toggle for planned workouts) and then scheduled workouts with the actual power plan from best bike split to see projected duration and load on the fitness chart. Those workouts also had the fancy stage descriptions from the event in them, so after the race I matched the activities to the planned workouts, toggled the race option and deleted the planned races from that day.
But if you keep the planned a/b/c race events I don’t see a point of flagging the activity as race if it is already matched to that event.
Yes so we plan using Race A/B/C and that works fine and gets matched to an activity after the event. What we’d like to have though is the activity also flagged as Race (e.g. auto tick the box in the image) so that we can quickly see them in the fitness chart (i.e. the red dot), and also filter for only Races in the Activities table to quickly view some custom metrics.
Well the race event still shows on the fitness chart when linked to an activity
Good idea. I have implemented this. If the activity is paired with a race (automatically or manually) it will be set as a race. If you unpair it later then the race flag is cleared. If it is from Strava then Strava will be updated to match if possible.
Awesome. Thanks David.
