I see the following option to categorise as Race, but it doesn’t save. If this is a strava sync activity does it have to be race on strava to save? although I cannot find race tag on strava anymore? Edit: Ah doesn’t show for virtual rides
Hmm I didn’t know that. I wonder why not? Its not like there aren’t races on Zwift!

I’m getting the same issue. I accept that whatever platform I’m syncing for may not have labelled it as race, but i’ve been trying to go in to the activity and manually setting the tick box to “race”. I click “ok” successfully, but even without navigating to another screen, going back to edit the activity again it has already disappeared.
It’s a shame as one of my activities has (accidentally) self-identified as a race, and i love the the functionality that it is then highlighted with a red banner, and red dot in the fitness graphs.
You could try download the original file from Strava and then click “Upload” to upload it on Intervals.icu. It should replace the dup Strava activity and then you will be able to make it a race.
if you change the ride format on strava from virtual ride to ride, it will give you the option to classify it as a race
I went for the download and upload workaround- as I want to preserve the “virtual ride” classification on Strava. Thanks!
