R-R data lost between syncs

Hi,

My sync path is the following:

I record all my rides on a Garmin device (HRV enabled) → synch with Garmin Connect - that synchs with Strava - that synchs with Intervals and Golden Cheetah.
Either Garmin does not transmit or Strava cuts all HRV info when synching to GCheetah (and Intervals? does it have HRV fields?) because they are not there when I open that activity on Golden Cheetah.
I know the original Garmin fit file does contain HRV data but I have to download and upload it to Golden Cheetah in order to get them…

True up is the reason my hub is Garmin Connect.

Any way out?

Appreciate.

Tks.

I think Strava ignores the HRV data. Anyway it doesn’t come through via the Strava API. You need to connect Garmin to Intervals.icu to get the raw files. Then you will be able to download from Intervals.icu to analyse in Golden Cheetah.

Probably easiest to use the Intervals.icu upload to Dropbox support. Then you will have Garmin → Intervals.icu → Dropbox and you can just use GC on the Dropbox folder and not have to download anything.

I can confirm that it works if Garmin is connected to intervals. Just go to “Interval Data” from the activity page and there is a download link to the Original FIT. Loading that one in Golden Cheetah shows all R-R intervals.

Off topic and sorry for the thread hi-jack, but is there a path to get R-R data from a Wahoo device?

I don’t think so, from what I researched, Wahoo does not record this data and if it does not export it, I can’t even access it
