Does this mean it updates the intervals name from Strava, or that it updates the Strava name from Garmin → intervals → Strava?
I would like to use Gamin name instead of strava’s “Afternoon Run” etc, preferably also in strava.

Yes, it does.
I don’t know if I should continue on this topic, or start a new one. But:
Not I disconnected my sync from garmin connect to strava, and am only sending activities to icu. But dow icu => strava doesn’t seem to work. Is it because the GC <=> strava is still formally connected, but only set to get stuff from strava and not send to strava?
Or some other glitch?
I think intervals was never sending activities to strava.
Name and Desc are sent to (ICU → Strava) if the connection is not severed
AFAIK…
The reason I wanted to cut the GC ↔ Strava connection is that I don’t like the strava names: ‘Threadmill running’ in Garmin is better than ‘Lunch run’ in strava. But I guess it’s not possible to just have GC → ICU → Strava. Maybe I can write a script that renames the activities manually.
Disable this…
But then the names in strava and intervals are not in sync. Now I have it kind of working: I have an own python script that detects some runs, such a parkruns or club runs, and chanegs the name. This is now synced to Strava as well (I have no followers on intervals, everyone uses strava)
My own workflow is how I’ve made my app.
Garmin → Intervals
Garmin → Strava
BreakAway → Update Name / Feel / RPE / Desc / Gears → Gets updated in Strava / Garmin / Intervals
But i dual record (outside ride) so I need to delete duplicates in Garmin + Strava + Intervals each time.
