Power spike data

Hello,

I often have power spike data in my tracks. This typically happens when I restart my garmin after a stop.
This wrong data is easily detectable because looks like
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 850w 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
so one wrong data surrounded by 0s.

Would the software be able to automatically detect and remove the spike?

Intervals.icu is fixing some of these. They are not always just one point like your example. This activity has been fixed: Intervals.icu

You can see the “Power spikes” note at top and the orange bolt on the calendar. Add the “Raw power” trace to see the unfixed power.

I need to be quite careful with “fixing” spikes to not damage real data. In you case a 1s spike above 1366w will be considered a spike. You can click the “Power spikes” note to see a little chart of how this works.
