Hello, first time I’m using Intervals.icu → Garmin → Strava → Intervals.icu loop for a smart trainer and it resulted in what I believe is an odd power curve.
Despite sliding the “show pause” slider to the maximum, there is a light blue curve that doesn’t extend to the end of the virtual ride in the power chart. Additionaly, I have not been able to find a detailed graph FAQ yet to get clarification of what’s being shown.
I’m posting here in the bug reports but I’m not 100% sure it’s the most appropriate.
What was the recording device?
If it was a a head-unit or watch, I think you forgot to disable GPS on it and that results in an erratic GPS stream because you’re indoors.
You can correct for that by Actions - Settings and checking of Ignore Velocity data.
It was a Edge 520 head unit but the GPS was disabled before launching the training session.
I had an issue with the power and went through a smart trainer calibration during the pause. Can it be the source ?
I’ll go and ignore velocity eiter way, thanks for the suggestion.
Edit: ignoring the velocity from data didn’t change the blue curve. This curve seems to stop right at 40 minutes, which was the planned duration of the workout. There might be something with pausing during workouts that isn’t exactly right. Then again, I have no clue what’s this blue curve representing.
The blue line is the workout target and pausing during workout will throw off timing.
Your device cuts out pauses entirely. Intervals follows clock (elapsed) time and you can choose to display pauses with the slider. But the workout target timeline just moves on.
