Hello all, I did a 30s effort yesterday, intervals and strava give me 731w and garmin only 710w, zero are included on garmin and I have no autostop active
Welcome @Andrea_De_Mei! Did you set the interval on your device or did Garmin auto detect it? and is Intervals.icu set to use your laps or autodetect. The two may not be starting and stopping on exactly the same second. Also Smart recording vs 1 second recording may have an effect, but that’s just a guess.
I have 1s recording on garmin and intervals use the lap, I use lap on garmin before the effort
On Strava are we talking about the “Stravas Best 30 seconds” or your exact Lap?
30s best effort on strava Give me 731w as well as intervals, only garmin connect power curve give me 710w, the laps on strava as well give me 731.
I checked my power curves for a few rides and they are all within one Watt at 30 seconds with Intervals and Strava matching exactly and Garmin being one Watt off. Does this happen often or is this the first time? I don’t do much with Garmin other than feed Strava. LOL I would pick one and use it to compare as you progress.
Yes even for me strava and intervals give me the same 731w, garmin, goolden cheeat and wko5 give 710w, i have tried again another same effort yesterday and all numbers are the same
I did not think to try GC the 3 activities all matched I looked at matched. I do Not have WKO on an working Lap top, since the 3rd time I bought it for life and then wanted still more money. Maybe check a few previous activities. It is weird, but Intervals is fed from Strava.
I assume that your WKO and GC are fed from Garmin. My GC is fed from Strava, by the way.
Yes on Gc i use garmin file directly, when i look at lap eh give me 731 but when i look the cp power curve on gc give me 710w… anyway i re tested 30s and i did 738w, this time is the same on the all the apps
One Final thought, maybe Garmin took out a power spike that the other did not. But I again only guessing. You can put a Raw power graph in Intervals.ICU and take a look.
