Two issues with structured pool swim workouts synced from Intervals.icu to Garmin Connect (Forerunner 965). The same workouts sent via Final Surge work correctly on the same watch.
1. Rest time is added to the total distance
The workouts are correct in Intervals.icu: rest steps have no distance and the totals match. On the watch, the workout total distance is inflated by exactly 1 m per second of rest:

On the watch, the individual rest steps look correct (0:15), so only the total is wrong. The FIT file downloaded from Intervals.icu also looks correct (rest steps have duration_type time, intensity rest). So the problem seems to be specific to what is sent to the Garmin API for time-based rest steps.
2. The last rest in each repeat block is skipped
Example:

- 15s intensity=rest
After the second 100 the watch skips the 15s rest and goes straight to the first 50. This happens after the last repeat of every block, in all the swim workouts I checked. Workouts from Final Surge don’t skip the rest on the same watch.
