Polar sync now supported

Hi!

I am syncing my wellness data from Polar Flow and the Resting HR is not correct.
When Intervals syncs data it will take Polar Avg Sleeping HR and load it into Resting HR.
I have changed manually the Resting HR and after a synchronization the value comes back to Avg Sleeping HR.

I understand that Polar is a very “closed” system, but if you can fix this bug it would be great!

Resting HR is taken from average sleeping HR.

Apparently this is “by design”

Polar Flow Wellness (HR) import

I had a look at the Polar API docs and didn’t find any mention of that morning HRV test data. It doesn’t look like it comes through as an exercise either. Intervals.icu does process the nightly recharge stuff and uses that for resting HR: hrv = recharge.heart_rate_variability_avg readiness = recharge.nightly_recharge_status avgSleepingHR = recharge.heart_rate_avg restingHR = recharge.heart_rate_avg https://www.polar.com/accesslink-api/#nightly-recharge

So… I’m guessing that this is what Polar provides.

I took a look at the API data available, in the link you sent, and the Resting HR is not.

new Polar (and infrequent Intervals.icu) user here. Would like to track overnight HRV and HR on the fitness chart but not getting consistent updates.

I connected it last week and the first import was good, but then this data stopped coming in (activity data is still importing fine).

Tried to upload all Polar data but this didn’t impact the dashboard.

Any tips?

is the data available in Polar Flow? have you tried disconnecting your Polar account and then re-connecting?

i’ve found i need to click the refresh icon (Look for new activities) for the Polar HR info to show up in the Activities page.
