Planned Walk transfers to Garmin as Custom / Workout

Hi,
My walks this week have started transferring with a strange activity type that means Garmin doesn’t recognise them as a planned walk. Yoga and Runs still work fine, but Garmin gives the walk a type of Custom, and shows what looks like a Workout icon against it.
Screenshots show a Test Walk [not working] / Test Run [working] on the watch, plus the Garmin app view of today’s planned walk
Any ideas?
David

The Garmin API only has: RUNNING, CYCLING, LAP_SWIMMING, STRENGTH_TRAINING, CARDIO_TRAINING, GENERIC, YOGA, PILATES.

I have updated Intervals.icu to use RUNNING for Walks. So hopefully that works better.

If you download a workout as a FIT file it is encoded as walking:

You could copy that to your watch but likely the RUNNING fix should be ok.

Thanks. Sounds like it wasn’t an issue on the Intervals.icu side since it wasn’t an option that had changed. Bizarrely the test walk I created yesterday is now showing in the Walk option on the watch. I wonder if there was a bug on the Garmin side since it is now working. I feel guilty asking this, but would you be able to swap the change back and I can see if it downloads them as Walks in future?
