Pace Zones Issues

Hi,
I’m fairly new to the site and love it so far. The workout builder is great, but I’ve encountered a couple issues trying to build workouts by pace:

  1. When I try to set-up pace zones the “Copy from Run” feature doesn’t work like it does for HR. I just get an empty list of zones and have to make the zones from scratch each time I add someone that I’m coaching. Also related is that the “Add Zone” button doesn’t seem to do anything after this happens so I have to just start from one of the 7-zone templates and replace everything.

  2. When building a workout with pace zones, I ended up with some gaps where the workout builder wants to put a 1% buffer between zones. For instance if Z2 ends at 90% then Z3 won’t start until 91% so the paces between 90-91 are lost. In the pace settings the ranges are displayed continuously without the gaps. This isn’t a huge issue, but can be kind of strange if I make a “marathon pace” zone and then the target marathon pace isn’t displayed within that zone on the workout due to the gap.

In practice all zones are adjacent. Top of one is bottom of next zone. Values are rounded for display only.

Understood, but the display issue does create some strangeness when adding workouts for others. If I write their target marathon pace is 9:25 and select the marathon pace zone I set up for them, but they see the workout says 9:23-9:02 for the step, when in reality the zone should start at 9:31 like it does on the settings page.

Edit to add that I assume this will also make it to their watch if they have their workout calendar connected to intervals, so they will be seeing the erroneous pace range while doing the workout.
