No power data for my running?

I’m still discovering intervals.icu for my running. My data is coming from Apple Fitness via Strava into intervals.icu. I notice that I don’t have associated power data (which is present in Apple Fitness) and miss out on the relation between heart rate and power. What’s the way to get it?

Did you setup zones and FTP for running power?
You need to set them on the settings page or you will not get any power related analysis.

Thanks. Have zones but not FTP because did not know how to estimate it; will look into it.

Hi there,

Pretty sure even without a threshold set you should still see an average power if the data was present, so it might have been dropped during the export/import process.
From memory I get the feeling that Strava will not collect power data from Apple Health, I think I had to use a third party such as HealthFit or RunGap to get all the metrics.

Easiest way to check if Strava is the game-braker here would be to export the fit file from Apple and manually import in Intervals.
I personally don’t own any Apple device, so can’t assist in detail.

Is there a possible chance that this data is not being sent out by Strava?

I think there is a good chance. I see power data in Apple Fitness (not as a a graph, though) for running but not on Strava. I’d be happy to use other methods to get data from Apple into intervals.

Sadly my BreakAway: Indoor Training App does not have the ability to read workouts from Apple Health and then Send them to other platforms. (only write workouts to it and sync wellness data to intervals.icu)

you can try HealthFit and RunGap tho for HealthFit there’s no “try” app. Not sure if you can try RunGap w/o subscribing to their Swag Bag before hand.

I just tried HealthFit and it solves all my problems: in addition to power other health data is uploaded to intervals.icu. In addition, it is a nice app to use stand-alone.
