New workouts/activities not loading

One of my athletes’ new activities are not loading. Where can I check?

I already checked the following:

I am coaching him, pic 1.

His Garmin is connected via Connect, pic 2.

Checked the settings on Connect, pic 3.

He did two runs the last two days, pic 4.


Are his runs recorded with a Garmin device or are they uploaded to Garmin?
Garmin only forwards activities executed on a Garmin device.
Do the activities come in for the athlete himself? Or is it just that you, as a coach, can’t see them?
Has it worked before?
Give us specific information. Then we might be able to help.

The .fit file, when uploaded using Garmin’s import page, will push through to Intervals. Before I used Dropbox, all my Zwift rides worked that way. I can do the same with IndieVelo, but it’s a manual upload to Garmin Connect (web browser).

To add to @MedTechCD, share the Garmin Connect page that shows the device info, i.e. the image with the Garmin device on the right side of the page.

The runs are recorded with a Garmin device. No, the activities also does not show for the athlete himself. He only joined a few days ago and since then none of the two runs he recorded with his Garmin device are uploaded to Intervals.

Can your athlete see the workout in Intervals, or is it the same for both?

I notice the import all Garmin data is greyed out. Normally that should be an active link to the Garmin Export page.

Have you tried delinking the GC account, and relinking?

Same for both, so he can also not see the recorded workouts. The planned workouts does show in Connect on his calendar.

I wonder why the import all Garmin data is greyed out, I will ask him to click on it. I see my own is not greyed out.

In case that does not do the trick, how do I delink the GC account, and relinking it?

Click on the red icon in the GC setup on the settings page. Your athlete will need to do this.

I can see the problem in the logs. I am going to try implement a workaround and also contact Garmin about it.

I have implemented a workaround for the “Garmin activities not loading” problem impacting some users. I can’t figure out what is going wrong and why this started after 3 years of no issues but the workaround should fix it.
