New: Transfer training zones to icTrainer

From now on, the individual training zones created in Intervals can be automatically transferred to the icTrainer.com indoor cycling platform.
All the details can be found in the YouTube tutorial: https://youtu.be/Wtl4pImz2Uk
icTrainer is an affordable alternative to the top dogs Zwift and Rouvy.

I can’t seem to find a way to connect power meter to icTrainer via ANT+. Bluetooth dongle on the blink. Is there a way to connect PM via ANT+. Thanks

@nasatt Unfortunately, icTrainer only support Bluetooth for connecting power meters and trainers. ANT+ is only possible with HRM chest straps.

Thanks for reply. That’s it so unfortunately for me and icTrainer. I’ll have to go back to Golden Cheetah.

@nasatt You could buy a BLE dongle for 5 USD

The ictrainer is too complicated, I wish there was a lite version that just provided erg mode indoor training, similar to a bike computer would be fine.
Also, there seems to be a bit of a problem adapting the interface between pc and iphone

@Hugh_Laurie You can activate the “Compact View” in the left navigation under SETUP. Then you will also get a simplified view with only the most important information for ERG training. This is also ideal for small smartphone displays.

Yes, I set up Compact View, and I’m guessing that the app is based on pc programming and is not optimized for mobile touch screen operation. I would suggest setting it up with an interface similar to trainerroad or zwift, ftp setup, connect the power and heart rate sensors, and then you can just select the class schedule you want to workout in. As for MP3, video playback these features can be done inside the detailed settings. I used this app for a week and gave up on it. I think there are a lot of features I would like to implement, but it’s too big and complicated for me!

@Hugh_Laurie We are sorry that the app was too complicated for you.
Our extensive YouTube tutorials and 24-hour customer service have actually been able to help every customer so far.
By the way, the one-time creation of the user profile has recently been greatly simplified (similar to Zwift - but for 2 USD instead of 20 USD per month)
All workouts from e.g. Intervals are automatically displayed on the icTrainer start page and can be started with one click. it couldn’t be easier.
But it’s true that the wide range of functions and the numerous options require some initial familiarization.

I now regularly use either the garmin bike computer or the wahoo app for my workouts, both are free and able to automatically sync classes from intervlas.icu, connect the bluetooth and run it.
Hope this gives you ideas
