Hi a friend of mine is a new subscriber and I am helping him with Intervals. He got an email with old Data from Strava. We copied the Link and no activities are synced. He did a ride 2 days ago did a strava Upload and this ride isn’t synced, too.
Anybody any idea?
We connected strava again (yesterday evening) and clicked again on „old Data" he did not get an email.

If you are using the full Strava history import (Strava sends mail with link to archive of your original data), be patient after pasting the link and starting the process. This can take a while depending on the size of the archive. You may not see anything happening at first because in the background, there’s a list of ‘todo’s’ that is being made. The import itself only starts when the list is ready. For the same reason, a recent ride may not appear directly, being queued after the import process.
As a check for a working connection, just connect Strava, make a short dummy activity and let it sync. If that works, then start the full history import and let it run for whatever time necessary.
Thanks for answering. The idea with dummy is good. But we already started Strava Sync with old data. Maybe acvtivities appear in a „few days" I will Update my Post
And yes we did it like it is written in the fqa. Only source is starva
It is working. He was not logged in in his strava acc. I did not know that
