Hi,
Did someone successfully sync kCal and macros from MyFitnessPal to ICU through automatic connections?
Thanks!
Hi,

Myfitnesspal doesn’t play nice with anything. It won’t talk to zapier. It might be able to send macros to runkeeper but, AFAIK, you can’t get the macros from runkeeper through zapier.
You could write a google form with four fields and just manually copy the data in there and then automatically send it to intervals on submit.
Or you could give up on myfitnesspal and use a GPT to track your macros and send them to intervals.. I don’t know anyting about GPTs but I do use chatGPT to tell me what to eat. I tell it how many calories I want and what’s in the fridge and it suggests a meal and estimate calories and macros.
I see and agree…
It interfaces right with Garmin Connect, and I can see kCal there, for example.
One idea would be sync kCal from Garmin connect to (???) to intervals.icu, but I couldn’t figure out how to…
No, I don’t think Garmin shares the consumed kcal, only expended.
There is a python myfitnesspal library
so you could write a python script and then run it at midnight every day.
You need to have it on your computer, I think because it uses cookies from your browser to talk to MFP. Which means you have to wake up your computer at midnight. I was trying to get my mac to wake up and run a script and I couldn’t get it to work. Someone else here might know how.
Hi @Samantha_Lane !
Thank you, that’s very good stuff and exactly what I need!
Now, I have to learn Python or have GPT write some che for me ah ah
Thank you for your support and congrats for your skills!
Ciao from Italy!
I’m doing this using Breakaway + Apple Health:
Supports MyFitnessPal?
Edit: Never mind. Re-read. U said Apple Health.
So MFP writes to Apple Health → breakaway → Intervals?
I’m not entirely sure if MFP or Garmin writes to Apple Health but I input all my food into MFP which syncs with Garmin. I do have both MFP & Garmin connected to Apple Health with full write permissions. Then yes, Apple Health goes to Breakaway and then Intervals.
Cool! Anyways. If you want to check. Apple health does separate the data into which app wrote what. So you can go to the macros, then check the data sources.
