Hi everyone,
the download of my muted commutes from Strava has been a bit spotty. There were some rides missing entirely from the intervals.icu calender and when I tried to import the old data via the settings, all the muted commutes vanished from the calendar. This week my rides from this Monday are missing, but the other days got downloaded from Strava normally. Anything I can do to get the muted commutes to show up in my calendar properly?
Think @MedTechCD has it … I looked at your calendar and toggled show commutes on/off and things came and went. But not all of the “home2school” etc so maybe some of them are not flagged as commutes.
Oof, that was it, thanks for getting back so quickly. Didn’t realise that this option exists, feeling a bit stupid now
I’ve got Activity Fix running over the activities and flag them according to the parameters I set, so I think they get initially downloaded to intervals as normal rides before Activity Fix flags them as commutes. Then, when I went to download the old rides they were downloaded as commutes and subsequently hidden in the calendar.
The ones that are missing in November are due to illness, so that should be fine.
Don’t do that. This platform has way more possibilities then anything I have ever seen. But that also means that the learning curve is a bit steeper. Shoot whatever question you have, but just make sure that you perform a brief search on the forum first to avoid asking the same thing over & over.
There are plenty of experienced users around here that are ready to help you with your issues. Each with their own dedicated topics. Their goal is to relief david a bit, because the less time he has to spend answering the basic questions, the more time he has to develop new stuff and the more advanced possibilities within the platform we get. You will soon find out that development is going at a crazy speed around here
It’s is therefore maybe an idea that you (or someone else) makes a good video about the insights? Not a full on manual but maybe some tips & tricks that are hidden for the “normal” user. I’am sure this platform does a hell lot more and that I’m not using even 5% of it. A “get started+ video”. For people that have there data synced, know how to handle the basis but don’t know about those “hidden stuff”
It is work in progress and it takes time. @Gerald has done a lot of work on the Activities page which is normally the entry point for new users.
I have done a section on the Fitness page. We need to work further on the different sections, but I’ve put a massive amount of work in the different versions of the Training advice file and haven’t gotten around to do the Power and Pace pages yet. Those are on my ToDo list. I have a week of work at the year end and will try to get them done before Newyear.
We (@gerald and myself) split up the topics that we will handle, but if anyone else wants to jump in…
My advice would be to click and explore. If something isn’t clear, post your questions.
