Most laps from workout file, missing

Ref: https://intervals.icu/activities/3069638777

This was a 3 minute ramp test and many of the early laps are missing. I have selected to “USE LAPS”.

This is a graph of how it was expected to look --> https://www.cyclinganalytics.com/ride/656783056079

Thanks for the great web app!

Thanks! You need to click the “Analyse” button and tick both boxes. “Use Laps” still does some filtering on the laps which you don’t want for a ramp test.

Then you can go to the “Interval Data” page for the activity and delete the ones you don’t want.

I deleted the 1st interval which really just changes it from “work” to “recovery”. I also deleted a couple of 2s intervals after the ramp part of the test.

Note that Intervals.icu doesn’t interpret the ramp test data “specially”. The estimated FTP is based off the power curve from the activity and not the PPO value from the test.

Thanks for that @david (great name :ok_hand: )

Is there a way to remove any filtering and just use the laps in the file? Or am I misunderstanding?

If you use “Analyse” like above you will get exactly the laps from Strava.

It worked. Thanks. The site is so so so intuitive, but this part was not, from my experience/perspective.
I thought I had found a bug! :grinning:

You are not the first to struggle with this. Need to try figure out how to make it easier.
