More than one gear per activity

Hi,

Would be great if one could add more than one gear item to an activity.
For example, a trail runner might add shoes, backpack, poles, etc. OR a mountaineer wants to add shoes, backpack, rope, harness, crampons, etc.

Exactly! From a user point of view this would make gear tracking a lot better! There have been several similar requests over the last years without any results, thus I guess from DEV side it is not that easy to implement?
I cannot get around creating multiple iterations of the same gear with different components (e.g. bike A with wheels A and shoes A, Bike A with wheels C and shoes B, etc). It would be a mess creating all frequently used combinations. Being able to add multiple gear would be the solution as I love tracking usage rates of all my gear meticulously.
