More precise total distance for planned workouts

First off, I love the platform, really appreciate the work you do and learn a lot from the discussions in this forum!

One minor thing that bothers me a little is that the displayed total distance of planned workouts seems to be floored. It might not be relevant for cycling, but for running – especially for harder workouts – I like to know the actual distance of the workout beforehand as I choose routes based on the total distance of that planned workout. If e.g. a workout requires a total of 21km, I will try to run a distance rather close to that distance (maybe around ± 0.5km)

Today’s workout displays as 20km overall, when the steps actually total to 20.8km. I was wondering, if you could change the displayed number to a rounded, not floored value or show a decimal for running? I could of course just assume the next full kilometer, but I figured that this might be something that you want to change.

Tx. I need to try come up with a solution that works on small screens. And for cycling the decimals just make it look cluttered:

Maybe a checkbox in Options → Colors for the sport.

Options per sport would be fantastic. Some might not care about precision there at all and leave it as it is. I would suggest the change to rounding numbers though.

You are right, this looks somewhat cluttered. Can you decrease the font size (1) either depending on text content length or (2) in a responsive fashion based on viewport size? Or move to a two line layout for that info?

I added a “Precise Distance” to the per sport calendar settings (Options → Colours). When ticked all activities under 100 km or 100 miles get one decimal place. When not ticked it is under 10 km /10 miles.
