Missing Activity from Strava

Hi

I had an issue with Kinomap which resulted in an activity being synced to Strava with no gps and, therefore, no elevation. I deleted the activity from Strava and replaced it with a manually created ride so that I could incorporate the elevation data. Kinomap have since fixed the issue and I have deleted the manually created ride and replaced it with the original Kinomap file with gps and elevation.

I then deleted the manually imported entry from Intervals and then tried to refresh so that the new version would be imported but it is not working. I have tried going to the fitness page and selecting the data range to include this date (11 August 2021) and selected refresh but it doesn’t work. I have tried closing Intervals down and then re-opening and repeating the process but still it does not appear.

Are you able to check if you can see the activity and, if so, could you try the refresh on your side to see if you can make the activity appear?

Thanks

Matt

I’m not sure the ‘look for new activities’ button works like that for these type of scenarios.
Perhaps these were in the wrong order.
Can you delete the ride in Strava and add it again?

That is really weird - I had deleted it on Strava and loaded the file again and it didn’t work. I just did it again and it immediately popped up on Intervals. I guess I had to have deleted the manual entry from Intervals before doing the Strava stuff. Thanks for the advice.

I had the same issue with an activity from August 21st 2022.
What I did was: go to Settings, go to the section with the Strava connection, click “Donwload Old Data” and select a range of time that included the missing activity. Done!
