Missing a second from uploaded workouts

I upload workouts from both TrainerDay and TrainerRoad via dropbox.

TrainerDay workouts have always been 1 second shorter on intervals than the actual workout was.

When the same TrainerDay workout is uploaded to TrainerRoad, it shows the same duration as TrainerDay. Why is intervals showing it 1 second shorter?

I also tried uploading the fit file from TrainerDay (instead of the tcx file that automatically uploads via dropbox).

Whilst the time discrepancy persists, I noticed another thing. Intervals recognises the tcx version workout as an outdoor ride (incorrect), and recognises the fit version as a virtual ride on a trainer (correct).

More recently, TrainerRoad workouts - that were previously showing the correct workout time here in intervals - are also showing as 1 second shorter here than the actual workout was. Has something changed?

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

TCX showing outdoor is probably our problem. I will work on that.

On closer inspection of recent TR uploads, they are all 1 second short. The one I thought was correct is not, but I had extended the cooldown, so the summary tile looked correct, when the detail page shows it is not.

So there seems to be a difference in the way intervals deals with files than how TR and TD deal with the same files.

It is something I would expect anyone to lose any sleep over, but it would be nicely anti-OCD to see them all say 1h30, rather than have one of the three platforms showing 1h29m59s

I think this was always the case, for many (all?) activities. Looking at a recent Garmin or wahoo activity, the overall time is one second less.

It shows correct on the data tab (intervals totals).
