Those contours are from Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. That is where Intervals.icu was started.

I really like the design but man the European sizing makes me feel like a tub

What’s the population of runners vs cyclists on intervals nowadays?

For those with a hesitation of sizing:

I have 5 race-fit shirts from Ciovita.
I also have shirts made in Italy (GSG and Santini).
They are all L (Large).

The race-cut is definitely a European sized cut, and quite consistent across the chest measurement.

Oh, I’m sure I’d you measure they fit great. I’m just a north American medium and I measured out to an XL which my ego doesn’t appreciate.

Hi David! I tried my account password on the order site, that didn’t work! Any other suggestions?

You need to use the password displayed in the “Merch” section on the /settings page, not your account password. Tx.

Do you know if you are on the upper or lower end of the measurement ranges against the fit?

I’m going to buy a kit I’m near the edge on sizing between s and m for both jersey and bib. I presume I should size up (never had a pro fit cut kit before so unsure here)

A medium is too tight, for me, and the XL isn’t that loose compared to the L.

If you don’t mind waiting an hour, I’ll then get sized up.

Thanks for the quick response! Happy to hold.

According to the sizing chart, I should be a medium; right at the midpoint of medium. I took multiple measurements, breathing in and out and then in a relaxed state. Not as tight as a skinsuit, but close to it. My physique would never be seen wearing a skinsuit :rofl:

As mentioned, the medium feels a little too tight. The large does has some play/movement, but it’s comfortable for me.

I love the design! Could anyone who has a Ciovita jersey compare the sizing to other brands they have (i.e. “I’m a L in Ciovita and a M in [brand]”)? (would love a comparison to Jakroo, Santini, Primal, Suarez, Panache). I don’t think the sizing chart really takes height into account, that’s one reason I’m wondering.

I am 183cm and 69kg (scrawny) and I can usually fit into a M jersey. I have a sample M of this jersey and it is too just a bit too small, so I have ordered L.

This is awesome, David! I’m a big fan and intervals.icu is my primary training tool for monitoring fitness and fatigue. I was fortunate to do an 80km MTB ride around the peninsula and Table Mtn out of Cape Town a couple of years ago on a layover. That ride is one of my all-time favorites and I’m looking forward to having a jersey to commemorate that experience.
