LT1, VT1, HRVT1 Field

Could you add a field to put the threshold LT1, VT1 or HRVT1? It would be interesting to be able to graph this data to see how it increases or decreases depending on the type of training applied. The field would have to be written by each coach or athlete depending on the test.

So these would need to be “wellness” fields?

It would be a field, like heartrate max, FTP, etc…, it would be ideal for those who work with the aerobic threshold extracted through dfa and lactate, currently wko, does not have that possibility, golden cheetah does have it, it could be called Aerobic Threshold (AeT) and if it were not too complicated to be able to plot that data over time to see what decisions to make.

AeT Speed/Pace, AeT Power and AeT HR for Running, Cycling, and Rowing, would be great

Am I correct in saying that AeT is usually used to set the top of zone 2? I could add support for plotting zone info over time. These are stored on every activity.

I leave you the graph of the three skinner zones, I am currently using in my regular work the following zones based on physiological data. They are the cardiorespiratory zones of Pallarés. The second threshold could be used as the ftp as the heartrate, but it is interesting to have the AeT data in heartrate as in watts and thus be able to see a metabolic evolution, who works with the system of three zones will also be very well.

Yes,

  • zone 2 in a 3 zone model
  • zone 3 in a 5 zone model

(Although, I no longer call zone 1/5 “recovery”.)

Is it already possible to VT1 & VT2?

Would be nice to have an overlay with current training input as VO2 (oxygen)-testing is not done regularly, but value can change over time.

At this time, if this works for you, can create a custom activity field and track it over time in the fitness page with custom charts…

I am tracking LT1 over time in this way…

Is this an available field? (For cycling)

It is a Custom Activity Field, basically you create it and give it the information you want (with or without javascript code). Here you can find more info about this feature:

Custom activity fields - Intervals.icu Forum

Computed activity fields - Announcements - Intervals.icu Forum

Once created, it will be available for any activity and you can fill it manually with a specific value. If you want, you can click on search and find it if this is easier for you.

Thanks for the help.

I found the field and I see you have to fill it manually.

I’ve been looking into the computed fields quite a bit recently and was curious to see how you were calculating LT1, hoping I could learn a bit about the coding behind it.

That looks very similar to Iñigo San Milan’s 6 zone model. I’m not sure whether R1 or R1+ corresponding to his Z2.
