Low Amount of data points using a iGpsport BSC 300 bike computer

Hello everyone,

I started cycling this year and I absolutely love analyzing my rides on here!

I do have some problems with my data accuracy and I can’t find a solution…

My bike computer iGpsport BSC 300 only exports one data point for every 5-8 seconds while in motion. That results in +/- 10 Watts in NP/average Power and average HR between the iGPSport App and Intervals ICU.

If I import the data to Strava, Strava and the iGPSport app show the exact same NP/average Power and average HR

I tried exporting from the bike computer, downloading from the bike computer, syncing with strava then downloading from strava, syncing to Strava then syncing Strava to Intervals. I always get the same results

Everything is updated to the newest firmware
Battery saver mode is off
Can’t find any other option for gps rate, smart recording or anything in that direction

I tried to Google search the problem, but nobody seems to have the same problem. I can’t find reviews mentioning this as well.

Can anyone help? Is there anyone with an iGPSport bike computer that doesn’t doesn’t have this problem?

I also contacted the support a while ago, I will give an update if I get a response there

Thanks in advance!
Thilo

Thank you for the fast reply!

I can’t find any smart recording or any comparable option

You will find it under “Cycling page” then “Auto Settings” → “Smart Records”
