I recently started using IndieVelo and I somehow seem to have lost my Activity Power Page for these activities. They were there at first but after adding the dual record power chart the page seems to have gone. I suspect this is down to me doing something but I don’t know what.
Power is recorded as I can show PM power, Trainer power and dual record power on the charts, but I can’t seem to display raw power, power or 30s power.
I don´t know how exactly dual power is handled in Intervals but suspect that if you untick dual recording, they will all show again.
Question is, which Power to use if there are 2 streams…
You have 2 custom activity streams using the “power” field from the record messages. This stops Intervals.icu from using “power” for all of its analysis. I need to fix this but for now you need to delete those custom streams and do “Reprocess file” on rides impacted,
IndieVelo only considers the trainer power as the “main” power source. Power recorded from a PM is not used in the app to determine speed etc. So when imported into intervals the power chart generated is from the trainer power and not from a PM, as would be the case with a ride on Zwift or outdoors. Is there a simple way to make that switch in intervals? Not a big deal but I’d prefer to have all power from the same source.
I have same thought as you. It would be really appriciate to switch the power source to power meter but not from the trainer. My Wahoo Kickr Bike power is 13% higher than the power from Assioma now. That’s really a huge trouble for me to calculate my TSS correctly.
I need to cleanup some of the code that processes that stuff to support this and “early” custom activities streams estimating power from speed and so on. Will do soon.
