Longer weighted aveage for fitness and form question

Can it be done and Is it advisable for someone like me that’s only hiking at lower intensities and doing 500 mile hikes. Google AI is what advised me to look into this as we were “discussing” by form levels getting down to -50 and even -102 once

You can:

Then pick a date on which you want the modified settings to start and adjust the numbers.

But the question is: how do you feel after such a journey? If you have no problem recovering from that within 5-7 days, I would suggest setting Fatigue to 5 or 6 which implicates that you recover faster. Additionally, you can set Fitness to a higher number, implicating that your Fitness takes longer to fade.

But maybe, it’s just an anomaly with load calculation?
You can try the above with your historical data, if it doesn’t help, just remove the calendar entry. Whether it is helpful, would require that you have some sort of historical log with subjective fatigue/mood/motivation scores.

I tried it and nothing changes unless (someone suggested) I already have an edit that I dont know about after the date I chose? Is that possible?

There used to be a bug and I don’t know if it was solved.
Try going to the calendar at the date you entered the new values, then move that calendar entry 1 day and back by simply dragging. At the time of that bug, this solved it.

I remember reading about that, I tried it to no avail. I clicked a more recent date and it showed the defaults so I’ll try again from scratch

OK, I think I have this worked out. My second try made it all worse so I deleted that one as well and will go with the defaults, It was an interesting adventure
