LeCoach.app - AI cycling coach for Intervals!

Thank you!

After version update the description of the workout is sent to Strava description, how is it possible to turn this off? Thanks

Hi, you can do this in settings under the Appearance section there is a toggle called “Sync analysis to activity description”. This will prevent the description to be changed in Intervals and therefore also Strava.

Thank you, I have found it, strange that it got enabled somehow.

Hey everyone, V1.194 is now live: Automatic HR targets on workouts. This was one of the most requested features by our users in our support system and also requested by some of you here. So now even if you did not bring your power meter you can train with LeCoach!

:new_button: New

Automatic HR targets on workouts: LeCoach can now automatically add heart rate targets to future and existing workouts based on your LTHR, Max HR and training zones.

  1. We created a new section in settings called Workout Settings, enable it there
  2. All new workouts created via LeCoach will now have HR targets next to your power targets.
  3. Once enabled LeCoach asks you if you want these HR targets also added to existing workouts.

This works for cycling and running and uses your personal custom zone per sport. Cycling and running zones are mapped separately so targets are always appropriate for the activity type

:sparkles: Improved

  • Workout edit now uses a unified single modal — cleaner and more consistent across the app
  • Sweet Spot zone now also shows up in your zones. More on that coming soon!

:wrench: Fixed

  • Fixed HR zone extraction and mapping edge cases

V1.195 Mark workouts as done by creating manual activities & better gym / strength training support

:new_button: New

  • Mark as Done: you can now mark workouts as done and create a manual activity. This is useful if your forgot to record your activity or for sports where you don’t always have to record it like Gym sessions.
  • Partial gym sport support: gym/strength workouts and activities are automatically linked, better designed and fully functional. Also, you can mark gym workouts as done by creating a manual activity. LeCoach can not yet create gym workouts in your training plan but if you have gym workouts from other sources LeCoach will handle them well. If there is enough demand we can look into empowering LeCoach to create gym/strength sessions as well.

:sparkles: Improved

  • Analytics: further improvements to the analytics page: load actual and target closer to each other. decoupling chart now shows all activities, a endurance only filter and trend lines.
  • Activity matching: a green checkmark now appears when a planned workout is matched to a completed activity

:wrench: Fixed

  • Mark as Done modal: fixed an issue where the modal and sync weren’t working correctly
  • RPE dropdowns: fixed RPE (feel/effort) dropdowns not saving or syncing properly

Follow up plan is not working… it just return to the training plan page and do nothing. Can someone confirm it?

Hi i can indeed confirm that the followup plan button does not work atm. I expect that this is an easy fix. Will try to get it live this weekend.

Thanks for reporting!

This has now been fixed. Thanks for reporting!

More good stuff coming your way on monday!

I think it’s a real game changer. It has suggested a diet and cycling plan that I’ve been following everyday. The pounds are dripping off, and I feel I’m getting stronger as a cyclist. The Coach (ai), is so fun, and even has a sense of humor. I spend so much time on it, learning, and just free talk, haha
Thank you, Rutger, and all those who have help put this together. I will definately be subscribing as my trial nears completion!!!

Hi Rick, thanks so much, really makes me happy that LeCoach is making such an impact! Interesting use case to combine also with diet.
I’m currently working on a habit tracking feature that i expect to launch this week. I’m using that myself to stay of the potato chips (my guilty pleasure) and track my mobility exercises. So that could also be useful.

Are there any diet-specific features you’d like to see added? Would weight tracking within LeCoach be useful for you? Or anything else you’re missing?

When i allowed it to add HR targets to an existing plan it ended up adding garbage values like 170% LTHR everywhere. It was unable to remove the targets from the workouts afterwards despite saying that it had done it. - Obviously not a big deal since it does not affect workouts or plan but still thought you should know

Did something break yesterday? Rides fully synced to intervals do not show up on lecoach and a done gym workout shows up as untitled activity with a red ticker?

Working on this now! Expect to ship a fix that will prevent this in the future and ‘fix’ workouts that received wrong hr targets.

I’m seeing a normal amount of activities coming in yesterday compared to other day’s so expect this might have a been a one-time exception. You can perform a full sync in Settings - Integrations in case this happens. But please let me know if this happens more often.

That most likely is because that activity was either recorded via Strava or sent to Intervals via Strava (so recorded on a device that you did not directly link to Intervals, which then got sent to Intervals via Strava).

Could you confirm that? In that case try to connect every device/platform you use to record activities directly with Intervals instead of using Strava as a bridge. Here is the help article that explains it; LeCoach | The real AI cycling coach

Just shipped a quick fix for this. HR targets will most likely not be perfect yet but not as crazy as before. Will continue to work on this issue rest of the week.

Found a bug under Analytics > Sleep Quality (Habits & Wellness Tracking).

Issue: Sleep Quality remains empty even after I made check-ins.

Nice! This feature is not officially launched yet but somehow you and some others have managed to find it! and thanks for reporting this bug!

Will work on this on thursday and then also release it properly: the wellness checkins and habits/tasks features. Tomorrow I’ll be focusing on properly fixing hr targets (and riding the course of fleche wallone just before the pro’s do).

Another fix for hr targets is now live, so for the users who are currently using hr targets you should now see realistic HR targets on all your existing workouts as well. To sync those changes over to Intervals perform a full Intervals Sync in setting. This manual sync only applies to the backfill. New workouts will get the better hr targets automatically and ofcourse also sync automatically.

Actually, it does a really good job suggesting the foods & meal plans I should be eating pre, during, and post rides. Sure weight tracking would be nice, as a sidebar to my fitness progress. Sam (it’s name I’ve given it, male or female, haha) is more concerned with weekly weight average rather than the daily number which is good, but I do jot my weight down each day anyway. Keep up the great work.
