I did a 50k-ish race this past Saturday.
Garmin recorded 32.33 miles, 8:23:25 and 5,269 ft ascent.
The timeline data that copied into Intervals reports 32.33 miles, 7:58:21, and 3,287 ft climbing.
Is this some sort of bug in the data file being copied over, or some other problem?
Is there a way to edit that data in Intervals? I see where I can edit the Climbing number, but I am not seeing a way to edit the Time.
Intervals.icu uses moving time in most places whereas Garmin is reporting elapsed time. If you look at the time on the timeline chart it goes out past 8 hours.
I have an outstanding todo list item to “use elapsed time for moving time” on a per activity and per sport basis.
Ok great, thanks! I wondered if it was something to do with the moving time vs elapsed time.
What about the difference in climbing elevation? Should I just edit that number on the timeline?
I think I found the issue. I had “use elevation correction” checked under the timeline settings. When I un-checked that option, the climbing number changed to what Garmin had recorded.
