I recorded an outdoor interval session where I used the lap button to mark my intervals. In the activity I clicked “use laps”. The laps displayed seem to be shifted by 1 minute (beginning earlier) compared to when I pressed the button.
Do you have the Strava privacy circle enabled? There is an open bug with the Strava API where it returns incorrect lap data for some activities in that case.
Yes, I have indeed and the rides start and end in that circle. One minute is also fairly accurate to the time I need to leave that circle. Thanks for the quick response, David!
ditch Strava and have your original data come from your original head unit / app
#2 is preferred. Else you will be faced with issues such as
privacy circle
Strava t&c which prohibits the processing of your data OUTSIDE of intervals (eg: your data cannot be fwd out to any services like I want to go intervals → TP (just an example I pull from the sky)
data truncation (like #1 but here they remove any data which they deem as non essential - think LR Balance. CIQ fields)
Just ditch Strava sync to intervals. (Untick download activities but NOT disconnect)
If I disconnect, all existing strava data here is deleted.
