Laps no longer detected

First off, this tool is awesome and thanks so much for putting it together!

Since the end of last week workout laps don’t seem to be getting detected anymore, I am doing trainerroad workouts on my Garmin edge head unit, and nothing has changed about my setup… I always opened the activity and hit the ‘use laps’ button to override automatic interval detection, but now when I do that either no laps are detected or really random intervals are detected that in no way match the workout. Example here: https://intervals.icu/activities/3898739554

Obviously this data is starting in TR, going through Garmin to Strava and then finally to Intervals, but if it can be resolved it would be great!

I will have a look at this tonight. Pls also send an older example where the laps are correct.

Thanks! Here’s one that worked as intended: https://intervals.icu/activities/3810399153

It picked up intervals as normal, but once I hit the ‘use laps’ button, it shows the workout which is really handy for reviewing outdoor structured workouts.

That one doesn’t seem to have any laps? Laps in Intervals.icu means using the lap button on your device in contrast to “intervals” which are just sections of the ride pulled out using the power or lap data or manually edited.

Your first one does have laps, most of them 60-90s. I did find one bug: The interval detector was discarding very short intervals without a lot of repeats even when using the “keep all laps” option. I have fixed this and will deploy tm am. With that fixed you end up with this:

I deleted the low intensity/very short ones and its a bit better.

It looks like your power meter was acting up a bit or did you stop pedalling suddenly in the middle of many of these?

You can use the “Fix data” option (tick power and replace zeros) to clean those up:
