Todays ride was to do 3x15 threshold intervals followed by 3 ad-hoc intervals but I am wondering why the average power for the interval differs so much from my computer and strava?
So, for each interval I hit the lap button and then again at 15 mins exactly give or take 1 second.
My Wahoo Bolt V2 recorded avg power for the three laps as follows:
Time 15:00 Power 309w
Time 15:01 Power 308w
Time 15:00 Power 309w
Time 4:09 Power 328w
Time 2:47 Power 354w
Time 8:49 Power 314w
However on interval data it gave the following:
15:00 299w
15:01 297w
15:23 298w
4:09 302w
2:47 283w
8:49 293w
So apart from interval 3 where intervals.icu finds another 23 seconds from somewhere the times are exactly the same but the power levels are way out.
Why is this and what do I need to do to align them?
given your desc, i think your best bet is to provide a link to your data so that @david can take a look (I can’t, since your activities are private by default)
I was looking at my own ride this morning.
Garmin → Strava → intervals
For Intervals. I am using “Actions → Use Laps → Analyse → Keep All Laps”. The Garmin is configured to auto-lap at 10km. Data from intervals is not consistent w/ the expected data.
Thanks for the reply your laps seem even further off than mine, I am also using Actions>Use Laps
Not sure how to link to data unless its a link to the ride HERE
and the lap data HERE
No it seems just having one messes up the laps. I think Strava gives me all the data (including privacy zone) but “adjusted for privacy zone” lap data which doesn’t match.
You could manually upload the .fit file or maybe configure Dropbox integration? Not sure how much support Wahoo has for Dropbox. Either way the file will replace the Strava activity and the laps should be good.
