L/R power data while using Zwift

Has anyone come up with a way to record and match up L/R power data on here while using Zwift (or other indoor app like SYSTM, Xert, etc.)?

I know for outdoor rides it’s easy enough to do with syncing Wahoo (I have an Elemnt Bolt) with Dropbox and having intervals pull that in (and I’ve read Sheree that it can match up that file with a Strava activity and use the Strava activity name).

But with indoor cycling apps, like Zwift, that doesn’t seem to be as straight forward. Am I better off just disconnecting Strava sync and recording 100% with the Bolt (thus relying on Dropbox sync).

Thoughts?

From other posts here if I remember correctly if you don’t use the Strava Zwift activity you don’t get the virtual ride info so no distance, elevation gain etc…

What I really need to do is figure out how to merge the Strava and non-Strava activities.

Yeah, that’s the part I’m trying to avoid. I mean, I know all that data is not strictly “real” but it at least it gives me a baseline to compare against.

Just a note that I don’t believe there is any trainer that can measure L/R balance.
You’d need to set up Zwift to take power from your bike power meter instead, which wouldn’t be a great thing if your trainer is interactive.

You are correct on the trainer not having L/R capability, but you wouldn’t lose any activity by using a different power source, as long as you leave the trainer as the controllable portion.

Whatever app you’re using just takes the power feed and uses that number in it’s calculations instead.

My Stages SB20 bike have this ability, for example

did you try fitfiletools?

Tx but I was thinking about building that functionality into Intervals.icu to work automatically. Also Strava doesn’t give out the original files.
